The gap we kept seeing
Across Arizona, medical practices struggle to fill physician assistant and nurse practitioner roles. They post to job boards and drown in unscreened applications, or they hand a recruiter a fifth of a salary and hope for the best. Meanwhile, talented PAs and NPs send résumé after résumé into systems that never write back, and end up taking roles that looked fine on paper and weren't.
Two groups who genuinely need each other, kept apart by a process that serves neither of them well. That's the gap PAbridge exists to close.
Built by a PA, not a tech company
PAbridge was started by Kelli Fabela, a practicing physician assistant who has lived both sides of this. She has felt the exhaustion of a job search that treats you like a number, and she understands what a practice actually needs from the clinician it brings on, the judgment, the fit, the things a résumé never shows.
That perspective is the whole point. The vetting is done by someone who knows what matters in a PA or NP. The matching is done by someone who knows what makes a role worth taking. This isn't an algorithm guessing. It's a clinician paying attention.
Local, and by hand, on purpose
We're starting in Arizona and keeping it deliberate. Every match right now is made personally, not pushed through software that optimizes for volume over fit. Arizona is big enough to matter and small enough to do this the right way, one careful match at a time. We'd rather grow slowly and earn a reputation than move fast and place people poorly.
